Composite bonding is a simple solution for fixing primarily cosmetic issues with the teeth most visible when you smile.

Introduction to composite bonding

Composite bonding is the process of applying layers of dental composite to a tooth to improve its appearance.

Treatment time: From 1 appointment and from1 hour.
Repairs: Cracks, chips, misshapen teeth, gaps in your teeth, and stains.
Results: Natural-looking smile.
Anaesthetic and drilling: None.

How does composite bonding work?

Step 4: A unique light is used throughout the process to harden the bonding material solidly in place.
Step 5: The tooth is shaped and polished.

How long does composite bonding last on front teeth?

The resins used for composite bonding generally last for approximately 5 years. Patients looking for a more durable solution for tooth restorations may wish to consider porcelain veneers, though please note that this process is more comprehensive than composite bonding.
